still, my transcendence is impeded by my wanting to hold on to my writings. to re-read them, at later times, to see the path that I've traversed so far, to measure out the distances between the present moment and that frozen moment encased in sentences and subtexts. as if such distances aren't already evident in my present being. do I really need to rely on reassurances from words written from the ghost of my former self?
