what do you get when you take an awkward looking teenager, a former child star and kid with a mustache and put them in a movie together? a film that isn't as funny as "wet hot american summer," not nearly as hard to watch as "vulgar" and isn't as quirky "ghost world." the jury was out on napoleon dynamite for about 10 minutes. when it came back not only did we find out that 8 of those 10 minutes were for a "pee break" but the verdict of a resounding "meh." that's right, it was just alright. not the funny, quotable, memorable film it was billed as and certainly not the freak fest my friends and others warned me about.

however, i will say it was nice to see lazlo hollyfeld back and dirtier than ever.
