Doh. So, to let peeps know that I updated I have to blow away access to my previous thoughts.

Okay I'm gonna post a couple of contradictions with what people would label my beliefs.
Thanks for the rephrasing, Commicking, I guess that's what I meant when I asked.
I would mostly accept the label of liberal but: I dig ALL of the bill of rights, including the one about being armed.
I'm a freak, but I think the most transgressive apearrance I can project is khakis and loafers.
I love to eat animals, but I love to hug animals.
I don't know, but I just think that looking at your contradicitons, you can find your openings to deal with people that are different.

I am sure there are others but the one that springs immediately to mind is what I call the Beauty and the Beast syndrome. I expect beautiful women to see past my less than attractive exterior and recognize what a fabulous person I am. I won't do this myself if the situation is reversed. But at least I recognize my own hypocrisy and will admit that it is wrong and that yes in this area I am shallow. But I cant help it. Besides this particular area of shallowness reaps many rewards. Some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen are my friends, Not that this is all I value about them or even the thing I value most, but I cannot, will not deny that when I am sitting and talking with someone who is smart and funny and we are having a great conversation, it doesnt hurt if she happens to be a beautiful woman. Also I enjoy the "wtf is she doing with him looks". Yeah, I know that is pretty shallow, too.
