So, last night I was at the bar in the middle of casual conversation and drinking with live music playing in the background. The singer/piano player was actually pretty good doing the acoustic covers. Then, he went into Billy Joel's Piano Man, he really sounded exactly like Joel. This guy, however, changed the lyrics up ever so slightly, brilliantly, in my opinion. Instead of, ''Well I'm sure I could be a movie star, If I could get out of this place'' he sang, ''Well I'm sure she could be a porno star, If she could just sit on my face''.
I felt and gave the same look as Will Ferrell did in Old School when he was dancing at his wedding and the Dan Band threw the ''fucks'' in the Total Eclipse of the Heart cover. As I looked around, the people singing along also did a double take.
For his ingenuity, I say bravo, bravo to that performer for changing it up a little...
