I watched the last india jones flick. The the level of unbelievability was way too high for me. I mean, he survived a nuclear blast. Sorry, should have said spoiler alert. I know there was a level of unbelievability in the others, but this was a bit much. I found myself
watching it though and seeing harrison ford in his old age. I found he looked remarkably like my dad in his older age before he passed. They had the same hair color, eye color,
hanging jowls, slumped posture. It was almost like watching my dad is some fucked up out there adventure with aliens. Once again, belated spoiler alert.

Have you ever seen a show called invader ZIM? Its about a green alien boy who comes to earth to take over the world. In the first episode he comes to school and no one notices he's an alien. In the first episode zim goes to school and the camera pans across the room to sees the children . None of them notice but this one boy who is screaming with his eyes peeled back and pointing at Zim. One of my friends recently told me that the first time he saw me he did the same thing. I am not an alien, as anyone who knows me knows. I also an not an invader, though I wish I was. It would mean that I would have the power to reshape the world and sometime I think it needs it. I would reorder the world. There would be one world government. Each continent would provide something to the greater good of the planetary size country. I would lay out a definite direction and progress for our world. The only thing is there would be rebellions that I would have to quell. There would be presidents and dictators that would fight. I am assuming I am a superhuman level invader and I or my world army could halt them. I would respect religious differences, but I would not allow them to get in the way of bringing the planet to a safer place. You could practice religion in your home or church, as long as it didn't interfere with the work. If you had asked me 10 years ago I would have said the needs of the one were more important than the needs of the masses. I don't think so anymore. I think the world needs drastic change to stop things like Dafur. I guess the good news is I am not a superman level power, so consider yourself lucky.

Speaking of aliens I watched a special on the chupecabre. , or the goat sucker as it translates. I think this is an incredibly funny name and possibly offensive to whatever the chupecabre is. I watched several local yocals talk about this weird gargoyle like thing. They then gave several theories for the thing, the weirdest being a human alien hybrid that is a government experiment. I think it's a lot of bullshit. The only thing that intrigues me is the surgical precision with which it supposedly mutilates animals and how certain body parts are missing with no damage or bod trauma. Either way I wouldn't want to meet the goatsucker in an alley.

It was recently father's day. I did my customary drive out to the cemetery, share a coke, and tell dad what I did for the last year. I'll tell you something weird about my dad. Most of you have not met my dad but he was hard to shop for. The one thing my dad loved was Louis Lamor novels. He's a western writer. Now my had 3 or 4 thousand louis lamor novels in his library. I am fairly certain the man didn't write that many books. I think by dad would buy em, read em, forget em, buy em again and continue the cycle. I couldn't get it him cologne or anything. He didn't date after he and mom divorced. I mean he banged a lot of people, but he didn't date. He didn't dress up so he had no use for ties either.

I took my new bike on its maiden voyage today and it did fantastic. I have decided to name it the USS elizabeth. Some of you may remember my new year's resolution was to go hangliding. I have found a place that lets you do 5 low level flights and then one high level flight in one day for 199. Let me know if anyone wants to go with me.

Ringgold held its annual 1898 day today and what that means is that they cut off a part of main street and tried to make it look like it would in 1898. I had traditional 1898 foods like hamburgers. Oddly enough I had he same thing a day later in 2008 day.

What would you do if everything you were doing, or were going to do had happened before? I find I ask myself this question often. Over the past several years I have been experiencing a lot of deja vu. I find that often I will dream situations and then later on, usually about 2 months later, I will find myself in the situation with the same people, saying the same thing, in the same place. As time has moved on I have had deja vu more and more frequently. I have begun to ask myself if I have done all this before, and if I will keep doing this again in some loop. There is a theory that time does not exist. That everything that has happened, is happening, or will happen, exist in one point and that there is no actual time. Our minds experiences time at a slow pace instead of all at once because I minds can't handle the experience. Creepy huh?

Can I paint you picture? When I was 11 this would have been before my parents divorced. My father gave my a full spiderman costume. I would wear it to school under my clothes and then come home and go in the back yard where there were 200 cars or so that my dad would sell or rip pieces from. When my parents went inside to cook or do whatever they did I would pretend the cars were skyskrapers and that there was villain in them, the green goblin or the hobgoblin or something. I would jump behind a car, tear off my clothes, put on my mask and jump from car to car making web shooter gestures with my hands. There were several times when I didn't make it and I got bad bumps or rib bruises. I still have the costume. It doesn't fit anymore but it brings back fond memories.

What do you think of other dimensions? Lovecraft raved about other dimensions. He wrote books about old gods wanting to get through to this world. I enjoy his works. Popular theorist in quantum mechanics have posited other dimensions. The theory is that there are billions of other realities separated by a different vibration. These worlds may be similar or identical. There may be one of me on every one. I would love to meet them one day.

Alien topic part three. I don't know if aliens exist but I can't think of a propulsion system that would get you from one galaxy to another. We have been trying to make antimatter since the 70's and we have about a gram at this point. It would take an anti-matter mass the size of a planet and a matter mass the size of the planet just to initially move into light speed for a pico second, let alone more than that. I mean you can move on inertia in space, but it would take thousands of years to travel from galaxy to galaxy. The travelers would be dead, unless they raised families on the ships to continue the mission. The only way I can think to do it is to use a wormhole, and its only a theory at this point. No one has developed wormholes of course. If aliens really existed then they have been here long enough that they would have damaged us if they were going to already. I am more concerned with alien germs, viruses, or any bacteria from other planets that we as a people or eco system have not built up a defense against. You have to remember comets travel long distances. Who knows what they bring with them.

I have these star trek ship models in my office. If you looked at them you would notice they are incredibly detailed. The reason is that when my parents divorced I would stay at his house and not have jack shit to do. I would buy a model what ever paints I needed, rolls of tape, and a scraping tool. I would sit the parts out on the living room table, dad would watch tv, and I would paint them. It was very tedious because you have spaces that curved and most of them were less than an inch long. You had to put tape around each piece to make sure you didn't paint the wrong pieces. It would take months to paint. Well anyway, now they are in my office and I don't know what to do with them. My office is filed with my computer, drafting table, toy shelfs, comic boxes degrees and awards and I am out of room.

One of my chums lives in a street called corinth road in lafayette. Its really dark and quiet out there. Any time I leave at night I always get this fear that there are zombies in the yard slowly walking towards me. As a matter of fact I have to run to my car at times because I am afraid I am going to turn my car lights on and see zombies surrounding the car or in the back seat.
