Things have been good lately. What comes to mind? I saw a couple of really good shows. The first was a group of three bands in a basement in town. They were all good. The last guy, EMOTRON, was part musician, comedian, and side show act. He lit his dick on fire at the end of his show. He used lighter fluid and everything. I also went to a day of Riverbend (week long musical festival in Chattanooga TN). I sat in the VIP section and watched the Steve Miller band. He's still got it after all of these years. The show was fantastic. It was on the Riverfront so it felt good too with a nice warm breeze.
I was thinking of imagination recently. I use mine on a daily basis when I'm bored. Pencils, pens, spoons and forks become spaceships. When I'm looking at them I'm making reasons why they are shaped the way they are. I map out where engineering is, where the bridge and living quarters are, and where the weapons systems fire from. I visualize them in space with deep battles and intricate subplots. If you looked you would just see me holding a pencil (older ship) and a pen (new updated ship) in the air and slightly moving them. When I'm in my house, I imagine I press a button on my remote and a whole opens in the floor. I then imagine I can go down to my incredibly huge underground fortress which is cleverly hidden by my house. I imagine I can walk anywhere in the fortress because hallway scanners scan my DNA and open all the hallway doors. From my secret lair I plot and scheme. My fortress does eventually get invaded by enemies. They are mowed down though my fortress defense systems and Patrick style robots. In the end though I am betrayed by the friend I have brought down to by fortress because they just happened to be with me in the house upstairs when the enemies attack and I have to bring them down into the fortress to save them from the enemies. It turns out the best friend is really a spy for the enemy and holds me at laser point underneath in the fortress. They think they have me and that they can force me to open all of the doors and let the enemies in so they can steal my technology. What my friend/enemy doesn't realize though is that my remote that opens the lair also has a laser system and can be used as a weapon. Once I laser the shit out of the person in the room with me, I release gas into the vents killing all the enemies and the Patrick style robots clean them up. As a note for the Patrick style robots, they look and act like me. You may not know it, but there is at least three on every continent learning new things. I use a devise in the fortress to sync with their minds and absorb knowledge. I also have a few that work and make income, though I don't need it due to my level of technology. These incidentally are the Patrick's you see every day and hang out with. In case you're wondering how this huge underground fortress came into my possession, it was the wreckage of a spacecraft that landed on the planet thousands of years ago and was buried as time went on. It called to me one day hundreds of years ago (I don't age due to technology). I built a house on it to hide it, and I'm secretly amassing an army of all the right people in my fortress who I have genetically altered to take over the world and run it in a peaceful orderly fashion under my supervision. Blah blah the story goes on.
Imagination is a good thing. But it's also a scary thing. You wouldn't believe the creepy things I think of at night sometimes when in the woods. There's always something in the closet, or I'll hear leaves move outside under deer feet and imagine something slowly walking towards the house outside. It has a wet sloppy sound and it leaves a cold gel like substance in its wake. It has only recently pulled itself from the grave. It has one eye missing but the other is focused on me. It's coming for me because of what I did years ago.
