Life has been a blast lately. You may know that I catch a lot of shows. Well I went to a venue that I haven't been to in awhile. My friend Cam and I went to a show in a guy's basement. There were 4 bands that played, one of them from Florida. The Florida band was kicked off the radio earlier for cussing. Potty mouths they may be, but they gave a good show. All the bands did really. As it was in a basement, there was a dog that kept coming in and out. It was fun to play with. There were also plenty of gutter punks. They were drunk and stinky, but they were fun. Some skateboarded through the crowd. Speaking of punk, there is a new punk venue in town and it's apparently and its frickin huge. Speaking of music, listen to Cat Power. I've bought all of her stuff. Listen to "I found a reason."
What else? Oh yeah, I played tennis with a friend and beat the hell out of him twice. Oh yeah, and another friend and I came up here on the hill and flew kites for a while. We also road bikes for a while trying to get up the hill. He breezed up it and I stopped halfway panting. I've never felt like such a pussy in my life. What the hell though, the man has played drums for 13 years in multiple bands. Calves of steel.
By the way, I apologize to everyone who has messages me and who I have not written back. I just don't make it to the comp that often anymore. It's funny, back when I worked in offices I played of the net all day between clients. Since moving here and rarely ever being in my office, I just don't make it to the comp much anymore. And things seem to move slower here too. I seem to enjoy my time, it has become sweeter. I don't usually waste it on the comp. I will get back to everyone though. Promise.
