I spent the day with mom today. That may sound like an odd way to start an entry, but we haven't done it in awhile and it was fun. I'm watching Apocalypse Now. Its a fun movie , but a bit creepy. I had things I wanted to say, but now that I try to think of it, I cant remember any of it. How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was good. I'm not a turkey fan, but I'll eat the hell out of some ham. I have to say I have spent the last week in a perpetual bliss playing the nintendo WII. As you may know, its an interctive system. One of my friends came over and said "This is sad, weve quit playing tennis outside and started playing it on tv." Where do you want to vacation? i want to go to germany. I speak the language. the only time ive ever used it here was when i delivered pizza in high school and one client spoke german and no enlglish.
Do you ever find your mind divided? I stay with my veiw points and wioshes most of the times, but I find my mind divided almost daily on a few issues. I personally blame my chess use for that. When i was young, I tought myself to play chess. I would play with myself. I would make a move on one side, switch sides then look at the board and decide the best move. In some ways, this skill has continued and I have been able to have conversations with myself at times and debate viewpoints as though I were of two minds. On the bad hand though, I never learned to foreplan strategy in chess becuase I was used to playin as two competing people. I think this has trancended into my everyday life. I rarely ever plan ahead. it hasn't hurt me mind you, i make good decisions most of the time, and I'm fantastic in a snap. I never get hurried or rushed and am usually laid back.
What else? I've become addicted to these goestze Candies. When I was younger, my father worked with a man who was a contractor on a frequent basis. Everytime I saw the contractor he gave me one of those pink coconut candies from his pocket (still rapped of course). I thought it was magic at the time. Now I find myself looking abck and wondeirng what kind of person continually has candy in their pocket.
