I had the craziest thought as I was dozing off last night. I was laying in the darkness of my room and thought:
"There's something in here with me. I can feel it moving around my room in the darkness. Every now and then I get the sense its walking around the bed, maybe staring at me. I might feel a slight touch of its hand in the darkness running through my hair, or its claw. It could be the wind though. What would I do if I felt someting sit on the other side of the bed in the darkness? What would I do if thick ropes of slime or slobber pelted down on my face?"
On to other matters than nightly creep outs. I took a look in the mirror last night. Its amazing how similar I look to my dad. I can wear his letterman jacket from high-school and its tight on me because i'm more muscular than he was (at my age). It's got a good feel to it though.
Can anyone suggest a good breakfast for the young man on the run? As it is, i eat these pb&j samwich pockets. I want a new something though, something tasty.Graduation looms near (send money). I bought a cap and gown yesterday. It was 85 bucks. I'm trying to figure out what part of campus I want to pee on to leave my mark. It's very alpha male wolf, but what the hell.
Lets talk about faster than light travel for a second. It's impossible really. To even start the journey in light speed would take more fuel, more matter, than the whole planet earth. Lets take it a step further. Familiar with relativity? The faster you move, the more time slows down. A twin in a space shuttle moving around the earth faster than the earth spins would age slower than the twin on the earth's surface. Thank you Einstien. At light speed, time would move so slow, that in a day of your light speed travel, everyone around you on planets would age 25-50 years. There would be no light speed visits to the family on other planets, everyone you knew would likely be old or dead by the time you got there.
On a more cheery note, I've got orange juice now.
