So I went and saw corpse bride last night and got to meet a few of the PDX folks. It was cool meeting some people, and the movie was very fun. smile It will definitely need to be part of my dvd collection once it's out.

Well, since it appears I'm not really making it out of town this weekend, my friend Josh convinced me to go with him to Spirit Mountain. If anyone wants to wish me luck, that'd certainly be appreciated! smile This'll be the first time I've been there, so I'm curious what I'll end up wasting my money on... If I'm smart, I'll just play some blackjack and be a bit conservative with my money. I guess I'll let folks know later on if I end up being smart or not. wink

I cant believe my week off of work is already coming to an end.... How horrid. frown I wish I'd had a month of PTO, now that would have been awesome. biggrin I need to get myself into a position where I can take sabbaticals. lol.

Yep, I'm a Portlander. I think "hi"s are appropriate, just not presuming that you have any rights to their company. I think if someone came up to me and said something like "hey, you're Venice! I love your sets/journals/whatever," it would probably make me happy.

I have to move away at some point. I've lived in Portland my whole life. I just have to experience other things. It's one of those things that's incredibly important to me, and I don't think I could be happy if I never did it.

i didnt like the movie that much. im still trying to remember exactly what happened in it; it was very beautiful, but the story was just forgetable to me. the tones and colors were really spectacular though.
