Ahhhh, springtime!
The weather has been good this weekend, which has put me in a good mood. Combined with the fact that this is a short week at work due to leaving for Sakuracon on Thursday, I am in good spirits.
So my birthday was a couple weeks ago. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about being 29. For the most part, it's just another year, but it's hard to believe I'm soon to be in my 30's. I dont feel like I'm pushing 30. Although maybe that's the important part. Either way, it was fun to get together with friends and do some birthday celebrating.
I've been meaning to start doing this for a long time, and I'm making it a point to finally get around to it. Theoretically from here until some unforseen date in the future, each time I update my blog, I will post up a new "what bar is this?" photo for people to guess. The first person to correctly guess which bar it is (Not you, Jojo! You're with me when I take these!) gets points. I dont think these points are redeemable for prizes, but they're points none the less.
Do you know your portland bars well enough to know whose wall of booze this is?
In other news, about a month ago we had a new addition to our household. His name is MIPS, and he's been a joy to have around. Sometimes he behaves a little strangely, but he's generally good company. Plus, since Jojo gets home a few hours before I do, he's happy to relay messages to her from me at work:

I'm glad your having fun. and I must ask, What exactly is MIPS?? As far as the sun and nice weather, it's always that way down here! which brings me to my next point: the short version is that Love blindfolded and kidnapped me, and now I'm here. It hasn't been too bad, just difficult finding time to make friends when you're trying to work and save money for a place to live (we're in his parents' house right now).
