I really have a rough life.
I live in paradise (zip 93401, check it out)
I have a friend who is beta testing a phone app where you can buy a friend a drink from your phone, no matter where you are. We are testing it here in SLO since its a college town with about 10 bars downtown, 6 owned by the same person. You pick the drink, AND TIP, and the bar and it sends them a txt message with an image. You show the image to the bartender and give him your last 4 digits and he gets your drink. DONE!
needless to say, beta testing is testing my liver at the moment. I just stood at a local bar near the door, the doorman was very casual and I wound up carding several very hot girls just because I was near the door and he was preoccupied. Not a bad night in a college town when you're 42 and gals want to get in the bar NOW.
Now back to reality...
