Well I've done something I've been meaning to do for some time and created an artwork folder... well I say artwork - it's more doodles done in stolen moments...
Here's something I did yesterday during work (mostly done during my lunch but I did do some of it during the morning when my system kept crashing... but don't tell anyone)!...
I know it's not brilliant but I find it so hard to write interesting journal updates that I figure the odd doodle should at least be something for people to look at!
Oh yeah The Doors (Or more accurately The Doors of the 21st Century) fuckin' rocked... I really enjoyed it and so did my mates (we're all big fans and it was just amazing to see, and indeed hear, Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger up there on the stage)! And the new singer (Ian Astbury of The Cult) was really good too... he dresses a bit like Jim Morrisson but it never really stepped into Stars In Their Eyes territory (thank God)!
I really hope they tour again next year!

groups are are cool way to get to know people i've found, and i'm sure there must be an artist/cartoonist group for a man of your talents.
and besides, the calvin and hobbes group is mine! ALL MINE!!! (its my first, and probably only)
oh, and i thought you meant a doors tribute band. THE REAL DOORS??? omg, i can't imagine. how did ian compare? i totally couldn't imagine it... i read a doors biography many moons ago, but haven't kept up my interest...
