Well I'm supposed to be on a hardcore savings plan for at least another year but yesterday I went shopping!
I didn't get anything too extravagant thought so I'm quite pleased with myself! And when I picked up my comic book standing order there were new issues of my two favourite magazines - Asian Cult Cinema and Wrapped in Plastic... yay!
I recently really culled my standing order and now I'm only getting a handful of titles that I really enjoy. I used to spend far too much and I really couldn't justify the expense any more
... oh yeah the reason I'm saving - My Dad is supposed to be winding down his business getting ready for retirment. He has a work shop that he was going to sell for 20,000... so I decided to buy it off him. I am desperate to get my own place but thanks to the state of the property market it's pretty much impossible for first-time buyers. Anyway his work shop is three floors and I plan on doing the top two floors up into my living space (the place is pretty big) and let him continue using the bottom floor as his workshop.
Then next year I'll be moving out... so at least I'll be in my own place before I'm 30! And I believe 30's are the new 20's... so that means I'll be out before I'm 20... right?!?!

tang is a powdered drink that tastes amazingly like sherbert but you cant get it over here in the UK. i used to eat it when i was younger it give you the biggest sugar rush!!
