So we didn't end up going to Synnove's parents place on the weekend. We celebrated our 6 month anniversary on Friday here instead! A better description and pics are in her last update (I don't want to be too repetitive). I love spending the entire day with her, especially when it's as nice out as it was! 
I think I'm going to have to buy her a kayak now though. We also looked at bikes, I definately need a new one.
On Saturday I sat around the house and cleaned a bunch of things so the landlord could fix them when he came over on monday. Then on Sunday I went to Grand Lake to visit a friend who was down from TO.

So we (M, A and I) all decided to take a boat ride to Grand point to take a swim. We anchored the boat here:
about a kilometer from shore on one side and 1.5 kms from the other side:
We got out of the boat and were about knee deep in water where we parked the boat and it gets even more shallow:
There's even a tiny island!

So then we decide to swim to the buoy that marks where the point ends:
which was about 200m from where we were anchored. M and A swam out there first and were holding on to the buoy when I decided to swim out. When I got there they decided to come back in so I turned right around when I got there and started back. I should have taken a break out there cause I almost didn't make it back!! I'm normally a really good swimmer (I worked at a pool when I was younger) but I haven't swam in at least a year so I got kind of tired and thought I wouldn't get back. Panicked a bit for a minute then got a hold of myself and just pushed myself. Made it back to the Island and laid down for a minute to recover haha. Then I went fishing for some pretty rocks for Synnove
After the swim we played some lawn darts and then I came home and relaxed. Didn't do much on Sunday just lounged around and studied for a midterm that I had on Tuesday.
I had 2 midterms last week (algorithms and computer architecture and organization) which were alright, the entire class did bad on the algorithms midterm so we had another one on Tuesday. I did pretty well on all 3 midterms so I was happy about that. I only have 12 days left of my undergrad!!! (hopefully)
I've also been applying for jobs like crazy, there's a few positions available in town. I had an interview for one last week and they want me in for a second interview tomorrow with the president of the company
Finally, Synnove and I signed the lease yesterday for our new place, 28 days left until we get to move in!!! I can't wait to be out of here and in a nice clean place with just her ♥
