i'm so tired of all this hollywood "happily ever after" crap...yes, i know people do live happliy ever after but it seems more and more rare nowadays soooo i've got an assignment for you:
tell me a movie you liked that didn't end in...
*...both people realizing they've been in love all along and didn't see it
or
*...the boy finally noticing that the girl he thought of as his best friend is actually the love of his life, there under his nose all along
or
*...the girl realizing that the boy who's been pining over her since elementry school really is "the one"
...show me real life...
hope everyone had a nice weekend

no one in the movie wants to say how fucked up they are. until the end when they all admit it and sing "Wise Up" by Aimie Mann. one of the most real and heartbreaking scenes i've ever seen, because you have to admit that it's you also.
what part of LA are you in?

80's movie that is legendary on the crap-o-meter. Horrible dialogue, horrible actors and a horrible story where the main character doesn't get the girl in the end. But he is such a complete wuss that you don't really care that he doesn't get the girl either.
