ahhhh, waking up early on a sunday morning to the pitter patter of rain outside. And while usually i would be quite upset to be up so early on my day off, i'm unusually happy about it. I think i may have even woken up with a smile on my face. Just overall strange for someone who got as little sleep as i did last night. I believe someone was texting me at quarter to 4 jokingly asking if they should go into politics. I thought it was a funny dream, only to find it all true

so while the rain may ruin most of the plans i had today, i think i can take it in stride and just find a way to keep this overall peaceful state of mind going. Right now the quiet moment of everyone else in the house still being asleep (even the god damn light sleeping coked up weasels) is one of the more soothing moments i've had in a while. And i have another two hours of this peace before everyone is up and about in the seemingly busier than it really looks hustle and bustle. I even ordered my new doc martens (lets face it, i haven't really felt whole since i finally retired my last pair a few years ago) so i can start breaking them in just in time for the fun part of the year

There are only a few more ways this could be perfect but i surely will take what i can get on this one.
