eh, already bored at looking at that last post. Went out for a nice cool evening walk, got caught in a torrential downpour a little too far from home. thats what i get
I love that though. I may be tempting fate a little bit since i didn't get sick from keeping a certain gonzo77 company this weekend not to mention from whats going around the office. I guess i'm enjoying the toeing the line a little
The first half of my painting is done, although i'm getting a bit frustrated with sketching out the second half. I guess i put it down for too long and went back to writing and lost the flow of things. I've been thinking about a lot of little projects that i started, put down and then started again. I've been sitting on my next tattoo appointment for 2 months now too, but the reasons for that are a bit more complicated. As a whole, i'm not really sure what i'm doing and i'm extremely scatterbrained.
I'm also a LOT more cynical than usual lately. And i know a few parties have noticed and hopefully take no personal offense. I think it's just a rougher transition than usual into my favorite part of the year. I think it has a lot of potential to be one of the best i've seen in years, but i think above mentioned cynicism is putting a personal damper on things. I hate things being somewhat up in the air. Yes no, stay go sort of stuff. I haven't gotten into the slow down flow of the season quite yet.
On a more light hearted note, i've noticed that i have a fun talent for being a one person show when listening to the right music while at home or waiting for the train with my ipod. I must be either really fun to watch or people must think i'm insane. Whatever works to keep the train creeps at bay. But i also am such a music dork that i'm noticing common music tempos in modern music. While yes, this is not unheard of it does amuse me. Fun example, Peephole from System of a Down is a waltz. And after getting the 1,2,3 tempo locked into my brain, i started imagining who amazingly frantic that would look with a ballroom of people waltzing to it. mmmmmm delicious!
Where is this post going? I'm not quite sure myself. Lets wrap this up then.
I took off friday for a bit of a personal day. I also have to get my license renewed. oh joy of joys.
That along with the rest of the weekend is looking strangely open since i'm uncertain about a few things, which i'm sure i'll figure out sometime this week. Hopefully boyo is feeling better. Saturday i may or may not take the train to hoboken to see a few people. Not really my gig, but hey, i gotta make the effort sometime right? I have some sort of faith that shit will even out eventually and for the most part, things are really really good right now. Plain and simple.
