A good friend of mine asked me a totally out of the blue question today and i just loved it.
He asked me "In your opinion, what is the best album of all time?"
After some thought and careful consideration, i went with Dark Side of the Moon. Oh i can see it now, all you music elitist snobs just cringing in your chairs over the cliche of it all. And to you I say, Fuck you. It's a well put together, balanced album and fuck, even for Great Gig in the Sky alone it is simply transporting and amazing. You sit there and tell me you can't feel moved even the slightest. But as the question says, "in your own opinion" and anyone with any familiarity with my musical tastes will see this to be more than appropriate because i'm not some punk who got a floyd at target who whacks off to another brick in the wall part 2.
So now i pass the question onto you. There is no wrong answer, and i find these kinds of things QUITE interesting

mine would be considered cliche by most as well. they can equally kiss my arse. Beggar's Banquet by the Stones with Pet Sounds a close second.

we discussed this question at work yesterday, and i couldn't answer because even my own personal opinion changes depending on my mood.
