Yesterday evening was a bit odd to say the least, but at least i turned up in one piece at home at some point. I wish the turnout would've been better for the kid, but what can you do?

Today me and meg are finally hitting up the dark knight since most of the people i know already saw it and cannot control what comes out of their mouths. i know i'm going to to have just as much as a dorkgasm as anyone else, but really, i'm sorry i dont like sitting in a packed theater with a bunch of assholes and their stinky sweaty children kicking my chair and adding their social commentary and asking everyone omg, whats going to happen next even though its the first time anyone's seen it. oh, and a job. i cant keep doing the midnight showing thing. nothing wrong with waiting an extra few days, its still the same movie, so put the elitist nerd cards away shall we? oh, and if i hear one person announce today, "thish ish like my 5th time sheeing this" i'm going to throw my shoe at them from across the theater, as they will probably be that guy who thinks they're at the rocky horror picture show and shouting at the screen.

hmmm, seems i'm not really in the sociable mood today. no matter. my pants are ready for imminent release none the less
