i really miss this time of year.
I miss being in the jazz/big band and going and playing a shit load of gigs and getting out of school.

music was such a huge part of my life and playing mom tonight really just made me miss it all the more.
i wish i could do more with my trombone. she's such a beautiful thing and she just sits there.

yea, i'm a huge band nerd and i'll never deny it. but the energy and rhythm i used to draw from performing was simply amazing. playing at the ohio state symphony and the rock and roll hall of fame was just a lifetime thing.

i could be that sassy feisty redheaded girl in the band that all the guys have a crush on because the rest of the band is a total sausagefest. that and you gotta be real good with your tongue to play trombone
