My hero has fallen.
A few days ago my Father, LTC Dean J. McCarron, collapsed and died at his home. He was in the company of my Mom, his wife of 41 years. It was also their anniversary. He was 86 years old, and the best Dad a kid could ever ask for.
Life is a fleeting second. I am thankful I took the time out of that second to tell him everything I wanted him to know.
