When I was a little kid I would call my friends on the phone and say "wanna come over and play?". I want to say it still, but it sounds too dirty. How does one make friends when they grow up? Why do you have to start a friendship with the opposite sex "well i don't wann fuck just so you know...but we can still have fun anyway"? And why is it so hard to be friends with someone who isn't in your group of friends. Why are people so stuck? Why can't I meet you and say hello and it will all be easy and we can be old friends and sing and dance in our underwear and bake cookies and tell ghost stories? I want to do the things you do at a 6th grade sleepover party. I want to do your hair. I want to tell you secrets. I want to laugh and watch movies. I want to make up dance routines. I want to stay up all night. I want every night to be like this. Who are you?

I don't always like when people talk about being a kid. They say "oh yeah I watched that show, i played that boardgame, yeah it was awesome". It makes me mad. Why does it have to be the past? You loved it because it was fun and you never should have let go of it. Its not nostalgia, its real, it can still be like this. Its not just a game or a joke, its real, fun is still ok. It doesn't have to be all grown up. The bar is fine. Not everyday. Some day I want you to run with me and hold my hand and laugh. Science experiments, limbo contests, make up a play on the spot, drive too far away, braid your hair, pile of candy, snow angel, covered in mud , pool party, finger paint, writing songs about everything. I want to dress you up and make up secret names. I don't want it to be with irony, I want to love it for real. I want to love you for real. I want to be friends and love my friend. Its ok to love people. Its not a big deal. You can get this close. You can really have fun. You can be silly forever. There is never going to be a real world. We can be like this always.
