Holy shit it's been a while, eh?
Been here there and everywhere, not the least of which was hampered by a loss of laptop when my motherboard went to the great beyond, and was capped by a fantabulous trip to Vegas for a long weekend party with friends for a wedding.
Stayed at the Mirage right on the strip. It was a blast. I want to go back, but this time I want to stay at the Venetian, or maybe go all out and stay at the Wynn. We had so much fun. I'm still a little jetlagged though, but that's probably because I got so little sleep while I was there.
Things we did and saw while in Vegas:
Shopped at the Forum Shops, Bellagio and Mirage.
Saw Spamalot at the Wynn
Rode in a 40 foot hummer "party bus."
Saw an overhyped burlesque show at 40 Deuce
Swam in a waterfall pool at the Mirage
Experienced the spa at the Mirage, two weeks before they closed for a 5 month renovation. (good timing, eh?)
Went to Quarks Bar at the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton. Drank from a huge shared fishbowl drink.
Had lots of sex
Had great chocolate
Saw a lovely wedding at Elvis's mansion, complete with Elvis himself, tho I admit, he DID look more like Andrew Dice Clay than Elvis.
Lost $3 at the slots.
So, what should be on the itinerary for the next Vegas trip?
