I was on my way in to work this morning, and because of various traffic snarls, was running late. I was on 29, heading towards Fairfax proper and the light turned yellow. I gunned it to make it through, but it was so very, very red as I sailed through the intersection. And across the street was a motorcycle cop. Fortunately, his back was to me, as he was very involved in writing a ticket to a minivan along the side of the road. So, yay me. I ran a red light, in front of a cop, and not only did I not get broadsided by oncoming traffic, but I avoided getting a ticket and resulting points on my license.

Still was 10 minutes late for work though. I hate sun delays.
