This past weekend was pretty awesome, I must say.
On Friday, I interviewed at a specialized staffing agency + the recruiter set an interview for me for what sounds like a pretty amazing position. So, I am up early printing out my resumes, etc...
On Saturday, the Beck show was amazing! I hadn't seen him live since MidniteVultures--so it was quite a shock to not see him breakdancing everwhere, going crazy. Highlights would include the puppet show that accompanied the entire show (right up to a special video of the puppets hanging out in downtown Tucson + 4th Ave-hilarious...) a flawless 'medley' of tunes from Odelay/Vultures/Mutations, an appearance by 2 dancing bear costumes, a heartfelt accoustic set where the rest of the band sat down at a table and were served wine and food onstage...and Paper Tiger! They played Paper Tiger!
