alrighty my sweets, I am back from my long weekend....
friday night i arrived in st. louis and had a huge run-around trying to get into our hotel. the whole road where it is located is torn up to hell from constuction and after we finally get to it, they tell us that their parking garage is full. so we have to back out and circle around, for probably a total of 5 times...plus there are already crazy drunks everywhere.
after we finally get inside the physical hotel, they have us go through another run-around to actually get to our room! turns out that they are remodelling the first floor of the tower that we are staying in and we have to go through the first tower to get to the second one. argh.
it was a pretty swank room after we finally go there...

the night of the black rebel motorcycle club show, cabs weren't even taking people to lacledes, so i had to walk 8 blocks and freeze my ass off. niice. well, it was totally worth it. they fucking rocked. amaaazing show. i wasn't sure if they would let people bring cameras, so i have no pictures...tear.
sunday, i went and had a fancy little brunch in the central west end at a restaurant called cafe balaban. really really cute. i wanted to steal all of the art deco posters they had on the walls.
we also went to a book store + antique shop. fun!
then, we trekked to the galleria and stupid me, left H&M till the very last...uhm yeah, they closed while i was in the dressing room. i have no idea how i lost track of time..but i managed to score a cute little strapless blue eyelet dress. i can wear it when i go home for spring break! yay!
i decided to stay an extra day, too...so i got another hotel in belleville to avoid staying at the parent's house
went to a townie bar on sunday night, stumbled to the hotel, missed breakfast, ate at panera. more thrift stores...creepy people.
long drive home monday night...
i think that is all...
now, i am ridiculously behind in all of my schoolwork...yess.
back to the grind for me.
