arrrghhh, can't sleep. sitting here fucking with the computer at nearly 4am. shitty part is, we are running out of nice days up here, and im going to sleep until 2pm guaranteed. grrrrrrrr

Today I learned that my grandfather was hospitalized with an apparent heart problem, which later turned out to be a gall bladder problem. He has always been a father to me, and my most trusted friend my whole life. The thought of losing him is too much to bear.

sorry to hear about your grandfather.. I just went through that with my father. He had emergency triple bipass surgery about a month ago.. it scares the living fuck out of you.. I feel ya brotha..

and no I didn't see that film.. I'm now going to rent it this weekend for sure... I lived through that whole era... I went to all the buttrock shows.. thanks for the tip.

what a lousy Friday. bad karma everywhere. I think staying in tonight was a wise decision.

Update: on the above mentioned Friday night: a good friend fell down a flight of stairs at a bar and broke her leg, Two other friends got food poisining at the pub I was supposed to meet them at.

Karma, its whats for dinner.

Well, 1992? See... I started djing techno in 92 and didn't listen to any other types of music for a few years. I'm not sure who you mean specifically, but I did regret not giving Nirvana a chance back then. I liked most of the other Seattle stuff, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden mostly. But I didn't hear much non electronice music that year.

um incase anyone is wondering, I don't list Nantucket because im trying to be funny or sarcastic. I really do live on the 14 mile stretch of sand 30 miles out to sea we call home, and it is a wonderful place to live. smile

See man I dunno about rejectable's. yeah, i guess it;s the closest thing here in west palm, but its full of creepy ass people. Not that i think goth people are all creepy, no, but i've seen some wierd ass mofos around there. For me, it's all the 80's euro-trash crap they play that drives me away. If the music was more recent, then it'd be cool. But yeah, too many wackjobs on coke and pills. The longue across the street is nice too. I dont go out too much anymore, kinda cuz i grew up here. But yeah, i'd move back to otown if I was you. Theres so many hot ass girls there its sick.
