Today I learned that my grandfather was hospitalized with an apparent heart problem, which later turned out to be a gall bladder problem. He has always been a father to me, and my most trusted friend my whole life. The thought of losing him is too much to bear.

to tell you the truth.. I gave up on NIN after Broken.. I gave the other albums a try, but none of the did anything for me. I tend to go for more Metropolis sounding bands and things like Coil and Puppy... I know I'm not giving trent a fair shake.. but thats me..
what a lousy Friday. bad karma everywhere. I think staying in tonight was a wise decision.
Update: on the above mentioned Friday night: a good friend fell down a flight of stairs at a bar and broke her leg, Two other friends got food poisining at the pub I was supposed to meet them at.

Well, 1992? See... I started djing techno in 92 and didn't listen to any other types of music for a few years. I'm not sure who you mean specifically, but I did regret not giving Nirvana a chance back then. I liked most of the other Seattle stuff, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden mostly. But I didn't hear much non electronice music that year.
