Hello! I have come to tell you the story of this morning's work-out adventure.

So let me start out by saying that I'm really really lazy about going to the gym.
Oh wait...who isn't? tongue

After skipping about a week and a half I finally convinced myself to get out of bed and go work out.
Ugh. Fine.
So I lolly-gag around the house for half an hour, but eventually I go to the gym. But first I have to spend 20 minutes on netflix trying to decide what to watch while I run.
Settled on X-Files. Because fuck yes, X-Files. (Oh....can I swear? Maybe not...)
FINALLY I hop on an elliptical and get to it.

Heh, silly me. I'm not allowed to work out.
Two minutes, Thirty-seven seconds in my dad calls from work....
My dog got out and is roaming the neighborhood.

Charming, Boomer, charming. haha

So I have to leave the gym, of course, and go track down my doofus of a dog.
Usually when he gets out he'll just do a big circle around the neighborhood so I drove once around, but I didn't see him. So now I'm getting worried.
I drove back to my house so I could check with the neighbors and see which way he went, and lo and behold, there he was, sitting in the yard like "What's up mom? I've been home waiting for you this whole time!!"

Aaaaaaagh. Boomer whyyyyy?
Well, I decided that since HE ruined my work-out plans, I'd make him get some exercise as well! (He's pretty chubby...he needs it!)

I grabbed my old bike that I haven't used since...forever...
Took Boomer into the street, and then took off. Raced that boy around the neighborhood, and I'm proud to say he was smart enough to stay a couple feet away from the tires at all times....which is amazing because he really isn't smart...at all =/
Honestly, we both had so much fun....I'll probably make puppy racing an every-day thing! I get to work out, spend time bonding with my dog, and he gets so worn out that I've got two hours of peace while he's sleeping xD

I've been having troubles attaching pictures for some reason, so hopefully the pic of Boomer and I after racing will show up. Love that dog love

Hope you guys have an awesome day!
Now I'm gonna go make some ramen and watch X-Files.
Because f*ck yes, X-Files.

Your lucky!! Whenever my dog makes a break for it, I end up chasing him down five blocks then he will pretend to let me catch him but as soon as I almost have his collar he darts off inthe other direction... Sigh who needs the gym when you chase a 50 lb. Boxer lol
