I have never blogged before in my life, so there is a first for everything. Im sorry if Grammar/spelling/punctuation is all to shit. i don't type often or a lot.
So this holiday season for me has been an interesting year to say the least. Thanksgiving for me was fun! I stayed in the small town I live in and spent it with coworkers. It was a blast, the first house i went to I hung out watched a movie drank A LOT of wine, ate some AMAZING food. I felt extremely welcomed and part of their family. I then went over to another coworkers house. Drank more, and played a card game. Cards Against Humanity, I was playing this game with people i have never met, and the parents of my coworker, and Grandparents of said coworker. It was an amazing night one that I hope to remember for many years to come.
My Christmas party was early in the month of December but it was a GREAT time. I had a dear friend come and join me for it this year. @azrea Has a blog outlining her little adventure with me in South Dakota.
Christmas this year was a fun Christmas for me. I had told my mom that I had to work the week before Christmas all the way up until Christmas day and that I would fly out o'dark thirty Christmas day to be home. It was a lie, I had gotten the week off and I planed to surprise my mom. It started Friday Dec 19. I worked all day, but once i got off work i packed a bag and waited for my new roommate to get into town. He arrived at my house at at 9:30PM after driving 1400 miles to my house. he parked his vehicle, jumped into my pickup and off we went, i drove the 3 hours to the airport 220 miles away. We get into Billings MT at 2am. We had to be checked into the flight at 4am.
A small town airport at 4am doesn't have a whole LOT going on. I walk in and this is what i see it made me laugh.
So my flight back to the west coast was a cluster fuck to say the least. My new roommate and I flew back to Portland Oregon. Of course we were greeted by Portland's lovely wet sunshine! No one knew that I was going to be landing in Portland, trying to keep it a secret from my mom. Saturday morning at 9am I start calling my friends who still live in town, trying to get a ride. finally i able to sweet talk a friend in coming and picking me up. We drove to where my buddy's car was sitting. We hopped in and made our way to the Seattle area where my Mom, Brother, and Niece live.
We made the two and a half hour drive to the Tacoma/Seattle area fairly safe. (I still haven't gotten any sleep and have been up for over 24 hours and my buddy was on even less sleep than me)
We arrive in the Tacoma area! We head to my roommate/buddy's parents house. I found out my mother was picking up my grandmother from the airport the day i got in and she was going to be busy all night, so i made plans to stay at my brothers house until all of us could go over and surprise my mom. So that night I got to hang out with my brother, sister in law, and my 15 month old niece. (who has fully stolen her uncles heart)
So I finally pass out Saturday around 8pm. I wake up Sunday, and my brother had already planned to go over to my moms to see the whole family Sunday. So about 20 minutes before we left to go to my mothers house I made one little phone call to my mother. the phone call went along the lines of "something came up with work and it looks like i will not be able to make it back home for Christmas at all, I'm sorry mom it doesn't look as of right now that i will make it home for Christmas." i could hear in her voice she was not happy and very sad at the idea of her baby boy (i am the youngest so i will ALWAYS be the baby, yet im 6'5" 275 lbs) I know its kind of mean to do that to your mother, but i was having fun with it and making sure she had NO idea that while i talked to her i was standing >20 miles from her.
So we loaded up into the car, and headed over to my moms! My brother dropped me off, at the corner of the block that my mom lives on and i walked while they drive over and walked into the house. I walked up to the house, i could hear the family talking, laughing and having a great time. I walked in without knocking or ringing the door bell. I walked into the middle of my family gathered in the kitchen and said "why Hello there!" My mom FREAKED, she started screaming, and crying runs over pushes my cousin out of the way and just gives me a MASSIVE hug and starts to ball in my arms. (i guess my plan worked)
So that night we hung out, and had lots of memories, there might of been a snowball fight in there as well... even tho there was no snow on the ground.
So as I planned to leave i asked my mom if i could borrow her car, she told me i could borrow the pickup. It was a good thing, i borrowed the pickup as well. I left my moms and headed back to my brothers, I had been back in a large city for less than 3 days, and within 20 blocks of leaving my mothers house a very nice lady decided that my mothers pickup needed something new. She added paint, took some paint off, and bent the bumper. A nice lady was (what I'm guessing) texting or looking at her phone when she rear ended the pickup.
there should be a gap between the bumper and the bed of the pickup.
She however didn't get off so lucky...
So we did a lot of family stuff and went to zoo lights in Tacoma. Here's a few photos i took during my little Christmas trip.

Christmas day came we opened presents and all that jazz, we then sat down i started a fire and we enjoyed the movie Elf.

So the Saturday after Christmas my buddy and me was planning on driving back to eastern Montana/North Dakota. the forecast in the passes was 20-30 inches of snow and the news people stating "if you don't need to travel - DON'T". So i bought tickets and flew back to Billings. As i was flying in these TINY planes, were i cant stand up straight in, my shoulders touch both sides of the upper luggage compartments, and i had window seats where my knees are in the backs of the seats in front of me, with no room to move or do anything without being in the persons next to me space. i thought back on my time in Tacoma area. Joy, Happiness, and love filled me. I just couldn't stop smiling and being happy. So i snapped a couple oh photos from the plane of the snow covered ground below.
My Christmas trip was AMAZING and filled with fun, laughter, and good memories.
The week after I got back from Tacoma, work decided to get SLAMMED. This last week Mon-Weds i worked a total of 50 hours, i slept for 10 hours TOTAL. i made it to 11pm on new years eve before i passed out on my couch. Today i didn't work, but i just got a text message telling me to be at the shop the same time the bars close, 2am! So new years starts with work, and a lot of it!
So This is the first time i have EVER done something like this. Normally I am not a open person, unless i have known you for YEARS. So Thanks for reading about my holidays :D Happy New Years to all
