While walking home on a wet rainy day,
i came upon a body in a ditch on the side of the road.
i looked closer and realized it was an older man.
an older man by the name of george, who i used to see on the corner by the highway begging for money.he was a kind old man with a big heart and a genuine sense of humor.i usually would drive by him 3 times a week and he would tell me a joke and i would give him some change, although he always said my smile was more valuable than the money.one day i asked him why he stood on the corner begging for change. he simply replied because if someone doesn't do it change will never come.
the next thing i knew i was running,
running so fast i didn't know where i was going,
but i was there in no time.
i stood there on the corner where george used to stand
and waited..
for my turn,
for change.
i wrote this like 2 or 3 yrs ago. i think i might like it. i think i am losing my edge. i shouldnt like anything i write ever. damnit...i need a drink
