Ooooh, I found out where the passes actually went: to our new owners. In turn, these passes went to their sales people. So, in a nut shell, a bunch of people that had jack shit to do with anything Barrett-Jackson related this year got all of the free passes.

A couple of people in our office got some, but only because my friend in the data department coerced them out of BJ's network people, since he helped them in a jam.

How does this "fancy dress" business work for the New Years party?

I have a suit...but that's it. Can I get a slick gangster fedora and call it good? Do I have to wear that business all night? I'm not the biggest fan of suits and what-not.
