Couple celebrity spottings, I saw Vince Vaughn the other day
I totally froze and said nothing, I didn't want to be the twentieth jerk to go bug him either. I was very pleased he looked good, the past few times I've seen him in tabloid stuff he looked shitty. He wasn't wearing sweatpants or anything
Also hung out around Jeff Grosso yesterday
That was cool, there aren't a lot of pro-skaters I would be star-struck by, but he is one of them. Seemed like a pretty nice guy too. There were apparently a few other big names at the skate thing last night but that was the one guy who I was excited to see.
Today I have a day off. No big shock, as it is Memorial Day, but I still get a floating holiday since it just happens to fall on my normal day off. So that is pretty sweet! I will need all the days I can gather for the impending trip I am taking with Thrasher to TX for the sis' wedding. I am hoping to head over to Sidewalk Surfer to see if they have a pair of Vans I want.
Even if they don't have them I am sure I can find something to waste my money on. Heh.
Glad things have been rad, but this is going to be a lame week - my boyfriend has to work in Tucson for a few nights, then he goes to CA for his other job. So I will be lonely around here.
Kinda sucks. We are pretty much pathetically co-dependent. I get to work the late shift at work though, which at least means the days go by pretty fast and I hopefully will have a few nights to go out with my work buds. Man, I can't wait to go to Texas. 9 days off for it.... I can't even being to tell you how happy I will be for that!
