My jeep is totally disintegrating. It's really like clockwork, every three months or so some other big expensive major work needs to be done on it. This time, it's my driver's side door. It is like a loose tooth hanging by a thread, I went to open the door and it swung down and nearly scraped against the ground. 
Last night was excellent - Matt and Kim put on a really good show.... however, I am perplexed by what appears to be a new fashion, um, thing happening. There was a clan of mostly men there, all shaggy and sort of emo looking, but with sweat bands on their heads, and short shorts, of the work out variety. Ummmmmmmm why???? Did I miss the memo? Is the 1980's "Let's get Physical" Olivia Newton John affecting fashion in this day and age? I'm just completely confused on this one. Not a good look fellas, just not a good look.
This guy apparently knows how to party though.
In my own strange fashion news, I find piano key neckties hilarious, and was talking earlier today how it would be great to make one of those fake tux shirts, but with a piano key necktie on it instead. I then found this:
proving me to be completely unoriginal on this idea, but completely relieved that this idea is already out there for me to order and in turn save me the legwork on creating. It is already on it's way to my house
And the best news I got is my sister has asked me to be maid of honor at her wedding. Actually, she is breaking the rules and having 2 of us. See originally she told her friend that since I was going to be married (which I obviously am not, things changed) I would be the matron of honor and her friend would be the maid of honor. Since her friend and I are technically both still in the "maid" category, she didn't want to go back on what she said to her friend, so she has 2 of us now. I am so happy that I was asked, and also glad I get to share some of the maid of honor responsibilities. This is good cause my sister lives in TX and it'll be hard to collaborate on a lot of the stuff my sister would need help with, but with the other maid of honor living in the same city as her, she'll have the help she needs. I am so excited for my sis, her getting married is really the best news ever.
And this just made me laugh
