yay! i am officially done with all the hard crappy work for this week, and have very little school work to worry about until after thanksgiving. a break!! to celebrate today after class i am getting a bottle of wine and relaxing with a few of my favorite things. fuck yeah. maybe a little more of the first season of 24 thrown in, plus some guitar hero 2. ahhh, life is good.

my dog is strange. she makes lots of weird little noises, but this morning she keeps, well, meowing at me. my dog. yeah, i know. i don't get it either.

oh man, and this is the funniest concert rider in history. it is for iggy pop and the stooges, and it is a real gem. do yourself a favor and read through the whole thing.

i chatted with my buddy jackie yesterday, he is the friend i made while i was in china who is now in iowa going to school. he is coming to visit me around christmas time. he tells me he got a driving permit, and wondered if i would help teach him how to drive a little when he comes out. he is 21, and has never been behind the wheel of a car. isn't that crazy? he said he thought americans are so lucky because we get to do everything at such a young age. and then he said fuck a lot. haha. when we were in china, he wanted to learn how to "be american" so we taught him all the bad words, and he uses them profusely. it is kind of hilarious. jackie is so rad, i can't wait to hang out with him again!!
