alright, so it's the weekend. um, yay. i have homework. um, shitty.


so one cool thing happened to me this week. i got a pass to go to a "blind screening" for free. my brother and i went together. we got all the way in the theater, still not having a clue what we were about to watch. then they tell us we are going to watch miami vice. and we sat behind the director, michael mann. it was an ok movie, the action was AMAZING and very graphically violent. the plot, however, was shitty. the best part of the whole experience was when the movie started to suck to the point it was funny (which happened much more than once) my brother and i were able to laugh at mr. mann's movie literally behind his back while watching his movie. who can say that? heh heh. it was a two and a half hour movie though, so i would imagine they would have some sense and cut at least 45 minutes of unnecessary crap and make it a tight little action flick. by the way, Colin Farrell is in fact, the shittiest actor i have ever watched. i had resisted watching anything with him up until that point, and i think it will be the last movie i see with him in it.
