Holy hell it's starting to get all kinds of cold here in Michigan....wind, snow, ice, slush....it's only going to get worse.

I really cannot wait to get out of this state. Not to hate on those who love it...it's just not for me....it never has been. I came here as a necessity and for whatever reason, ended up getting stuck here. I have big plans in my head for getting out.....and as nervous as I am about it all....I can't help but feel excited that if all works well, this will be my last winter here. No more cold, lonely nights....hopefully.

So the holidays are right around the corner. Money is tight, but what else is new? Sad thing is, I'm still not done shopping....but it's all good. I'll get by. No worries.

There's no doubt in my mind that these holidays will be extra special in my heart because she is in my life. Even though she's not physically next to me...I trust that next year she will be, and that eases some of the longing. I miss her so much.

I'm not going to see my family this Christmas which really doesn't help....I miss them a lot too....NYC is so wonderful this time of year. Unlike any other place. But, once again, it's all good. Big smiles. No worries.
