Hello! I know no one cares who the men are that sign up for the site, but that doesn't mean I can't write stuff anyway!
My name is Curtis. I've spent way too many years getting my Sociology degree. During my internship phase I discovered that I was better off in the non-profit sector. I currently work for my local Rape Crisis Center as a hospital advocate, hotline operator and IT specialist. I spend my Friday nights riding with the local police as part of their Family Assistance Crisis Team. That means that if there is a domestic violence call, I go in and talk to the significant other about their options and let them know they aren't alone. If there aren't any DV calls, I hang out with the police and go to their normal calls. Mostly car accidents and drunk drivers, but a few fights, bar break ups and run-aways.
I'm a movie fan, especially terrible horror movies. I own the entire run of almost every movie with more than three sequels, even if I'll never watch them.
I play video games, mostly on my computer. I'm an avid Blizzard fan, playing World of Warcraft since it was released forever ago and lately Diablo 3 and Hearthstone. I go to Blizzcon every year. It's my only real vacation. I have the distinction of being one of the top WoW players in a pretty niche area, but that's too easy to track me down if you know which one, so just assume it's something awesome (Even though it isn't!).
I play guitar, piano and sing. I've been writing my own songs since High School. After I got divorced I pieced together a recording studio, but it's still pretty generic. The music is basically for me.
Other that, I'm a homebody. I'd love to be more social, but it just isn't in the cards for me.
