Yeah, probably. There are several clerks/first years that I'm working with that don't want to let others read their shit. I think that is the most counterproductive inclination ever. Writing is a process...
(I'm actually not sure why I wrote what you responded to. The only times I've been posting online have been the times I've been drinking lately. My best guess as to what I meant is that. )
How often do you get the time to work on something that you are proud to put your name to as an attorney? I thought I had one or two just recently, but in retrospect, I hate what I wrote.... I can see the promise of writing, but the actuality of it retrospectively crushes me. I don't know that I can handle adversarial critiques. I can deal with constructive critiques, but 5 on 1 bashing...ouch. How often do you have to deal with that kinda thing?
