cliche as it sounds..i'm gonna be in a dodgeball tournament this weekend.
but my friends and i have been playing dodgeball forever. and we're all really good at it. and basically i know for a fact that there is no competition in the town i live in.
the entry fee is 50 dollars a team with teams of 6. we're gonna compete in the 18 and over division. the team is gonna be me, my friend john spring. and 4 of the terrah guys. i'm not sure which 4 though. i'm thinking michael won't do it, cuz he'll most likely have work, plus he just had that concussion and whatnot, and he won't have money to pitch on the entry fee. up until about half hour ago, nobody seemed to really wanna do it. until i suggested we could put the prize money towards their recording.
now everyone really wants to. and we will kill. john chris and i would probably be able to win as just a team of 3. wow. aren't i the cocky one? oh well i'm right. we all 3 throw really fast and are really agile. john especially. he was a pitcher for the city all star baseball team in little league. and when he throws the ball, you can hear it sizzling through the air.
i can't wait. now all i have to do is make it through yet another shitty week of work. luckily for me, i have a feeling i won't be working there for very much longer. my manager is getting increasingly pissed that i refuse to work overtime. the people that stay, usually work until about 7..7:30. i leave at 5:30 on the dot. he's been hassling me lately about how productive i am at work, and its pretty much his way of finding a way to let me go, without saying its because of the overtime.
