Definitelly it was the day when I had the terrible decision of accepting my ex invitation to eat with him and his mom at their house when we were still together.
They were from Honduras, he was the only non spanish boyfriend I had and definitelly the worst too. I really hope he was an extreme exception, because he was really the worst.
So that day they were cooking rice with meat, what could go wrong with that? They didn't say anything about it, we were going to eat and it was yummy, but I noticed the meat pieces were a bit weird. I moved one a bit and I laughed saying "how curious, this one looks like a heart", and they said it was. It was rice with chicken hearts. HEARTS, WHAT THE FUCK??
I was shocked and I apologized, but I wasn't going to eat fucking hearts. Why couldn't they just pick any other part of the chicken? It's like "come on, let's throw eyeballs, brains and uterus, who cares?"
They not only didn't care about how cruel that feels in Spain, but they were laughing at me for being "too sensitive". That relationship was based in making me feel bad all the time.
The reason I mention they were from Honduras is because I could undertsand our cultures were different and stuff, but I never made fun of them because of their habits like they did. I'm too worried about hurt other people's feelings to be like that.
