Hi SG land! First of all please don't forget to check my new SG set ember
The animal story I bring you is about my 2 little angels, my kitties Taiga and Hyena! I adopted a beautiful black cat when I lived with my parents, but when I moved I left her with them so it was easier for my mom if she still have her to care of.
So I had a house and it was too empty, I wanted to adopt more cats and save them from live in the streets and starve or suffer cold and rain. My best friend knew it and rescued a tiny lady from a stray pack. She was dangeously skinny, you can notice her little bones when petting her. She has intestinal parasites, diarrhea, fleas and conjunctivitis, and I was really worried every time I went to the vet to check for her health.
It was hard but in the end she recovered and grew big, strong and freaking crazy and active. Maybe too crazy and active xD
She was Hyena, here's a photo of her the first day I had her at home:
And this is her now! Healthy, chubby and crazy lady:
And my younger baby is Taiga, her story was less tragic but it was a big happy moment when I adopted her! She was the kitty of a friend, one day coming back home I saw him and I heard a noise coming from his bag, then her head popped up and I died! I wanted a ginger female and she was exactly what I was looking for, she stole my heart and I spent the next days thinking about her and how I wished she was avaliable for adoption. A few weeks later, my friend told me he couldn't take care of her and asked me if I could keep her. I almost couldn't believe it, it was dangeous for me because I'm asthmatic and allergic to cats and having one already was really bad for my health, but I love animals too much. SO OF COURSE I SAID YES.
I ran to his house and brang her to mine, she's such a good lady. She's quiet, lovely and extremely adorable.
When I adopted Hyena I had to go to emergencies because I couldn't breathe. I wasn't as close to my parents cat as I was to her, so the excesive contact was terrible for my allergy. Since then I need an inhalator for daily use, if I don't have it I have serious dificulties to breathe and some people told me to "get rid of the cats", but that's simply NOT an option.
Would you "get rid" of your son if he had some kind of problem? I know it's not the same, but they are part of my family too. I put effort in saving their lives, they mean more to me than most humans.
If this isn't love, what it is?
