That sorry seems to be the hardest word..That was my situation about a week ago, besides being my favorite song, well one of them.
My ex isnt cool with being friends.
So he is put out to pasture.
According to him, I am playing a dangerous game he doesnt like. I agreed and accepted the departure.
He truly didnt know me well and he never will it seems. But if I was in his place, I would have thought the same.
Believe me, it wasnt easy but I had to go on with my life.
Just hate that I always wonder, what he could be thinking or doing. Stupid girl, its temporary.
Another realization. I need to stop counting days.
Why would I want to rush anything. 40 more days till school is over..20-something days till my birthday...30 days till he comes back..I need to slow down.
Something I can smile about...
When a few kids wished I was around more often because Im the cool one. Thats huge. Me, the epitomy of coolness. Cant see it.

I'm sorry you and your ex are having the "let's be friends" problem. My last big deal ex and I are the same way. I would like to be friends with him, but he isn't having it. We had a lot of money issues and stuff though, too, as well as friends who lied a lot, so who knows what he is thinking really. Maybe give your ex sometime to get over your relationship and all that, and then he'll come around. You're a cool girl...there is no reason why someone shouldn't want to be friends with you.
