Just my luck....I go to the mall... to meet up with my guy...we leave..some hand just grabs my shoulder and I freak out..it was 2 friends I met at work about 6 years ago with their 6 yr old daughter tagging along which alarmed me..life is just going by too fast! and yes, I didnt expect to ever see them.
Sadly, I couldnt remember their names that instant,..I was just dumbfounded that they actually recognized me.
So I asked for their number and one of my best friend of long ago,Maura.. whom theyve kept in contact with..I know..what I friend I was/am
but she's still in Nevada with her 3 yr old son and the guy shes been chasing after for years whom Ive befriended before they hooked up and I believe they are still together. Funny how things work out...and you always find folks or get found at the least sought after place.
I had written their number down on an envelope I had in my bag, and now its gone!!..I think I threw it out forgetting and Im bummed about it...Wasnt meant to get reaquainted with them again or what? Guess, Ill search through the good ol web or maybe hope her brother still lives at the same place to find out. Some people I can let go of and some, I need to least have some sorta contact even if its every few months or even years..youd have to make a really big impression on me to hang onto you no matter the circumstance.
