Been having some drama with the friend dating the married guy...as well as finally going through all the boxes and bags my parents brought me of my stuff....I think I gave Goodwill almost my entire wardrobe this weekend because I got frustrated going through the bags and said "fuck this, take it all away."
Oh well, that means I gotta buy NEW clothes now...and that's always fun.

haha, yeah, indian isnt for everyone - it's cooked with a certain type of ingredient, called "ghee", which is clarified butter. thats the shit which will stop your heart! some places use too much of it, but I juuuuust finally found a place near my house (no, im near lincoln center, not in flushing, which brings up discussions of the chinatown there I wanna visit, too) that uses alot less ghee, and they dont overpower the food with spices & heat - it's amazing. Im gonna order from there tonite, thanks to this convo!

I hate headaches, I'm a victim of migraines very often.
I sympathize with your story (about the relationship thing). It's so sad when you get hurt by people you car so much about. I do believe that we become stronger by some bad relationships and then again some relationships I do believe have hurt us enough to cause irrepairable damage. I hope you have good luck in all your future endevors.

I'm glad a woman finally chimes in with how much she detests that behavior. Most I talked to were like that's how we are so deal. WTF was my response. It almost makes me want to stop dating all-together. Or leads me to believe that women have helped create a generation of guys that are assholes because of behavior like that. I'm sure it isn't. It seems both our genders are having difficulties dealing with one another. Perhaps we need to organize some sort of conference (or perhaps create a council or senate of sorts) that we can use get a better understaning of one another and prevent such horribleness in the future. Through this confrence/council we will acheive universal harmony among the sexes and will be good.

I'm putting up BoxOfficePoison for a couple of days early this week, so that should be entertaining. I've known him a loooong time and since he's relocated to the wrong coast, I never see him anymore.
Later in the week a friend from California/Canada is going to be in town, so I'm going to be spending some time with her and showing her around NYC since she's never been. It should be interesting as I think she's dying of cancer, but we never really actually discussed it before, but I read it in her Livejournal. Heh.
I'm hoping to travel this summer, too. Not so sure it'll happen.

I think you're the cool one!! I have a bad habit of counting days, too...such and such till school's out, such and such till pay day, such and such till vacation...I am with you on slowing down. You can't count down the days of your life...I'm working on trying not to, and so far, each day has been cooler as a result. Instead of looking at regular days as a countdown to a *special* day...I just look at it as a blank slate.
I'm sorry you and your ex are having the "let's be friends" problem. My last big deal ex and I are the same way. I would like to be friends with him, but he isn't having it. We had a lot of money issues and stuff though, too, as well as friends who lied a lot, so who knows what he is thinking really. Maybe give your ex sometime to get over your relationship and all that, and then he'll come around. You're a cool girl...there is no reason why someone shouldn't want to be friends with you.
