Charm City game night was fabulous, as was to be expected. It was great to see everyone again. It had been a really, really long time.
confession/realization: I didn't do much SG related socializing for awhile in there because the guy I was dating didn't want me to. He didn't like that I was involved with the site, even just as a member, and wasn't comfortable with me hanging out with other members. I can't believe I EVER let anyone take control of my life that way. I've known most of these people longer than I had known him and they mean too much to me for me to have allowed myself to just stop getting myself out there. There are a lot more realizations about changes in my life I allowed to be made during that relationship that don't have anything to do with SG that I am not going to write about here. I'll save those for another post. Maybe.
Aaaanyway, back on topic.
There was Apples to Apples, which I was terrible at. That made me sad. Normally I am a rockstar at Apples to Apples. Taz almost won the "delicious" card for playing "Lassie". That entertained me greatly. We played several rounds of Fluxx, all of which were won by DeltaIV making someone, mostly TheInsomniac win on purpose. They were also some of the shortest games of Fluxx I have ever played in my life. Luckily I was better at everyone at Mario Kart. Though I am sure it was only because I was the one who had played the most, seeing as though it was my game. We played Strip Guillotine, which TheInsomniac swears I have played before (Guillotine, not strip guillotine), but I have no memory of it. Both of us women playing had boobs showing before any of the men were even slightly undressed and were naked while most were still in boxers and t-shirts. When everyone finally got naked they just put their clothes right back on. It would have been slightly confusing if it hadn't been for the.....

Another party should occur sooner rather than later. That is my opinion.
