I get a call from my mom this morning, telling me that she is flying in to LAX at 7:45 pm. Tomorrow. O.o
We had been talking about her coming out to visit earlier this week, but I thought she meant in a few weeks. Not tomorrow.

This isn't to say I'm not excited. I'm very excited. I haven't seen my mom in 6 months, which is the longest I have gone in my life without seeing her. Mom and I are very close and I've missed her. Of course I work until 9pm tomorrow, and then 9-11am and 8pm-2am on Sunday. Yes, twice on Sunday. We have a required two hour cafe meeting, chat, retraining, etc. Then I have to go back to work. Hurrah. I have no clue when I work next week, but hopefully I don't work Monday/Tuesday, so I can at least spend some of the time my mom is here with her. Luckily my cousin said she'd pick my mom up at the airport, since obviously I can't do it.
Of course, she didn't actually tell me how long she's staying. I don't know if she just neglected to tell me, which would be kind of weird, or if she got an open ended/one way ticket and is going to decide when to go back once she gets here.


We'll see.

Because of this I went "Oh Shit, must clean apartment!" And spent most of the day, well cleaning and talking to cute boys online. I totally have my priorities in order. Right. But I managed to get the apartment back to clean, barring needing to wash a couple of pots and pans, which is a pain in the ass to do in the bathroom, and vacuuming which I don't want to do in the middle of the night even though my land lady isn't here.

So my MR set goes up in less than two weeks. I figured that it was time I treat you all to a little preview. Build up excitement some.
