I'm back!
Sorry for the unintentional hiatus. I had a gift account and didn't know when it was set to expire, then POOF! All gone. Being at the time unemployed, I couldn't immediately renew my account.
But, I shot a set with Augenblicke at the beginning of June. Finally got it sent in on the 30th, and after a weeks worth of waiting it got accepted into member review today. Which means that I'm back! Hurrah.
The set is really neat, he's an amazing photographer. Some of the shots are so artistic that I look at them and feel like they belong on the wall at a gallery. It's beautiful. Of course, it doesn't hit member review until Thursday August 20th at 8:29am. Maybe I'll give you guys a sneak peak before then.
I got a job! After two months of looking, I finally got something. My manager decided to hire me before even having an interview, which is awesome. I now work at Hustler Hollywood in the cafe. I am employed by Larry Flint. He signs my paychecks.
Starting is $10.00/hr + tips, which sounds like so much to me being from a state which still goes by federal minimum wage. The most I have made before this is $8.00.
I'm excited, it seems like a cool working environment. And it's right on Sunset, so I'm sure a lot of crazies come in.
Went to La Jolla with Lia and her man for the Fourth, and spent the day with her Aunt. We went on a spur of the moment hike and I didn't have sunscreen with me. Normally I wear spf 70 at ALL TIMES, even when it isn't really sunny out, we were in her aunt's rental convertible and didn't have any with us. After hiking up the cliff and down around to the beach and back I am now SO SO sun burnt. It is awful. Pale white to BRIGHT PINK. Wearing clothing hurts. I am applying aloe every 15 minutes.
