I'm going to LA this weekend to try out for America's Next Top Model - shorties edition. Girls 5'7" and under!

My cousin Amy, my friend Lia, and I are going together. While we probably don't have a shot in hell of getting on the show, just going out for the audition should be a hoot.

I'm also leaving Shawn here, so I'll get to have a girls weekend. Without a skulking boy following me around pretending to have fun. That is beginning to drive me nuts.

I need to get out of this relationship.

I've never been to LA before! I'm kind of excited. My mom was so happy that I was leaving the house that she gave me money for gas and food. My mom = awesome. Giving me money to do ridiculous things. Thumbs up for that.

Anyway, now that I have gas in my car, my paycheck cashed, and laundry dry, I should get everything else together and head off. It is going to be a long drive and I am doing it solo.
